Setting up house and home...

For the girls

The girls out grew their last bow holder. So I added a bigger one to the girls bedroom wall right next to their ballet bar. I used tulle to clip the bows to. Painted their names and put glitter over it. I used fairy cutouts from a gift grandma sent. On one side I looped the tulle so bows with barrette clips will not slip out. Ta-Da!

Painting!

So the girls room is really girly... pink, purple, green, lace, a ballet bar! I decided not to paint in their room to keep it simple and pretty. They did get a ballet bar though ... and a pretty little saying above it.

Christian got a pretty cool dino theme in his room.... we painted a huge volcano!

I did a bit of purple and gold in the kitchen to go with my LSU stuff. Purple rectangles with yellow paw prints and tigers.

Cream Puffs

I got this recipe from a neighbor a couple years ago. I love making these because they are cheap and easy. Let me know if you try this recipe and what you think.

THE PUFFS:
1 cup Water
1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
4 eggs

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Heat water and butter to boiling. Stir flour in vigorously over low heat until it forms a ball. Remove from heat. Beat in eggs 1 at a time until smooth. Drop on a baking sheet about 1/4 cupful about 3 inches apart. Bake 35 - 40 min. Let cool and fill.

THE FILLING:
8 oz cool whip (thawed)
1 big package of instant pudding
1 1/2 cup milk

mix pudding and milk until smooth. mix in cool whip and fill puffs.
(i normally use chocolate pudding, but don’t be afraid to try other flavors!)

About Me

I am a wife and mother, which basically means I am clothes washer, food maker, money distributor, calendar maker and booger wiper. My children fill most of my time, but I still enjoy random things. My mood is always changing, and what I do changes with my mood.

Easter Hair

Today I did Madison's hair in two braids. When you french braid you normally braid over each piece but instead I did it under, as to make the braids raised. Then I "threaded" ribbon through.
