Back to school

With school around the corner I have 2 worksheets to share.  Parent or teacher.  Homeschool, child care centers, or class rooms.

Everyone loves to watch young learners as their drawings change from colored blobs to little people with more details.  Ears, belly buttons, hands... all things I love seeing as my little artists develop more fine motor skill.  I created this page to track that development.  I give it at the beginning of the year and then at the end of each term.  The page is free to download.

I also made an art study page for students.  It lets students enjoy the art and artist while learning facts about the artist and developing a love for the art work.  You can find that page here.

Enjoy!

Sitting in front of the sewing machine...

The Apron I made for myself... I wanted something for when we are at booth sales :). I still need to add our troop numbers to it... and maybe some patches :) I included a few pockets for pens and receipt books! However... This would probably work better if my big belly would fit behind it. Maybe I should try to make another designed around my round tummy.

And of course... the patch I put on Christian's pants earlier this week! BATMAN!! He wore these pants all week...LOL. I put a layer of material then the felt pieces.

Thursday!!

Hubby got up with us today and made us eggs and bacon for breakfast! It was super sweet being as he didn't even get off work until 1am last night!
Did Madison's hair in a head band ponytail thing... another idea swiped from http://cute2tryhairdos.blogspot.com/. I just love her creativity.
Sent her off to school and dashed back to comment on http://www.mypinkstamper.com/! Chance for a free Batman cartridge today! How perfect would that be! Especially since Christian's B-day is coming up and we decided on a Super Hero theme!
Took the little ones to library for story time. Curious George theme today... they made Curious George toilet paper rolls for craft.
We have Girl Scouts tonight and the girls will be making bottle top magnets for their cookie customers... because Cookie Customers are "tops"!

THINKING DAY!

I wanted to do a small ceremony for the girls to go over and present the thinking day pins to the girls. I made these certificates and printed them on photo paper so they would be shiny and I can pin the thinking day pins onto the certificates. I added each girls name and then printed them out. The pictures are not mine... I just put everything together. So tomorrow I'll explain what the pin means and then present each girl with her certificate. The girls will then get to pin on their thinking day pins. We have a few other awards to pass out tomorrow as well... some of the girls did well with their cookie sales and are getting top seller patches. Also scavenger hunt patches and thinking day fun patches!
Oh... I included pictures of the bags we made for the girls swaps and Madison's collection of swaps :).
